My grandfather was a radio operator on a destroyer, the U.S.S. Bryant in WWII and my great uncle was on a B-17 (Cu-de-gra ? – I think, never found a picture) and was in a German prison camp after being shot down. I was too young to remember or ask detailed questions, but I wish I had the details of their stories. My favorite Uncle spent his career in the Army, so I’ve learned a first hand appreciation of our armed forces.

I know this is my car day, but surprise I like vintage airplanes too! Don’t worry I’m still a girl, love my shoes.
