Mustangs and More in Honor of Veteran’s Day

My grandfather was a radio operator on a destroyer, the U.S.S. Bryant in WWII and my great uncle was on a B-17 (Cu-de-gra ? – I think, never found a picture) and was in a German prison camp after being shot down.  I was too young to remember or ask detailed questions, but I wish I had the details of their stories.  My favorite Uncle spent his career in the Army, so I’ve learned a first hand appreciation of our armed forces.

Thank you to our Veterans and current military for all that you do.

Here is my own version of a respectful fly-by.  A rare line up of vintage P-51 Mustangs from Mustangs and Legends EventP-40 Warhawk

P-38 LightningThe infamous B-2 Spirit.  Don’t get me started.  I love this aircraft and hate what ultimately happened, a modern day version of the Tucker.

I know this is my car day, but surprise I like vintage airplanes too!  Don’t worry I’m still a girl, love my shoes. :)
