In keeping with our theme of the bedroom for the month of January, the place to find fabulous bedroom design inspiration are great hotels of the world.  It is easy to give yourself a luxury hotel room at home.  Minus the turn down, maid and little card asking you to check what you’d like for breakfast, there is no reason one can’t create this look at home.   The intricate details of a historic room might not be doable but it is easy to translate the flavor.  There is a hotel for every style.

From chic and minimal to luxurious and colorful, hotel rooms are ripe with hot design.  Scour luxury travel magazines and internet for inspiration to transform your bedroom outside your walls.  Borrow color schemes, placement and furniture ideas.  I’m not diminishing the talents of the brilliant Philippe Starck by suggesting an all white room, like those he did at The Delano, is something one can easily replicate at home as are many others.

 Where else but a hotel has there been so much design talent focused on a bedroom?  Hotels are the perfect spot for inspirational bedroom design.
