Style, innovation, creativity, passion, Brizo and me. You’ve undoubtedly heard of the fabulously chic homeware brand with a focus on faucets and shower systems plus all the fashionable accessories one needs to complete the look. Well… I’ve been invited along with other fashion savvy designers, architects and bloggers by Brizo to be their guest during Fashion Week 2012 next month in New York City to learn about their products and participate in their design focused events. How cool is this?
Upping the cool factor is Brizo’s collaboration with superstar fashion designer, Jason Wu. And yeah, we get to meet with the creative genius and attend his Fall 2012 Fashion Show.
One look at his latest collection for Brizo one can easily tell he is serious about making the kitchen and bath runway ready, not just a name on a licensing agreement.

Stay tuned for more, I’ll keep you up to date on the latest from this marriage of runway and interior design. Plus you can follow me on twitter @TheDecorGirl where I’ll be tweeting live February 8-10, 2012.
Quick, start the “cube of cheese” diet from Devil Wear’s Prada. On the steps of walking into the CFDA Awards, Emily (Emily Blunt) indulgently explains to Andy (Anne Hathaway) how she is on this new diet for Fashion Week in Paris where she “doesn’t eat anything accept when I’m about to faint, I eat a cube of cheese.” I’m already working on the what am I going to wear & the corresponding checklist has already started! I’m gonna be at Fashion Week, pinch me.

Disclaimer: As a guest of Brizo, my airfare and travel expenses have been/will be comped. However, my words are my own.

Thanks Jenn. I totally can’t wait. I was into fashion way before design and with clients (female) it helps create a common language.
