Bathrooms and tile go together like peanut butter and jelly.  (Sorry, I never liked peas and carrots.)  Tile in the bathroom works.  Tile is cleanable, durable and sheds moisture.  There is something magical how good tile design can give a bathroom a sense of order and beauty.  As much as one might salivate over dazzling patterned tiles, one can create their own dazzling tile patterns using basic shapes and Keeping It Simple (Stupid). Creating crisp tile stripes on the floor helps enlarge a bathroom.  Floating the wall cabinet over the floor tile design is another easy way to make a bathroom feel larger.  This bathroom is all business, in a good way.   Repetition is glorious.  Using the same blue subway tile throughout the bathroom not only creates order but a sense of calm.  You know what you are getting, no surprises.  Might I add this may also inspire the desire to keep the bathroom neat and uncluttered.  Artistic hand-painted square tile laid in a generous chevron pattern can be quite delightful.  Bathrooms need personality.  Simple, creative and fresh makes a bathroom enjoyable.  Classic and chic black and white tiles… with a clever twist.  Using a traditional tile layout on the walls forces the eye to enjoy the incredible quilt pattern tile on the floor.  Look how well they hid the floor drain!  Simple = gorgeous!
