The National Kitchen and Bath Association, NKBA, is not just for kitchen and bath designers.
For Consumers – While it is a trade association, anyone looking for kitchen or bathroom design ideas can peruse their website for ideas and even designers.
Click, search and enjoy. While it is not a catalog, as every home an client has their own unique needs and requirements, the website is a valuable tool for uncovering some wonderful kitchen and bath designs.
For Designers & Industry Professionals – The NKBA has long been a valuable educational resource for anyone in the industry offering CEU classes, career development, technology, business planning, succession planning, sales skills, etc. As the owner of the KBIS (Kitchen and Bath Industry Show) they have a vested interest in getting the latest and greatest in product information and innovation to their members. And they do listen to designers.
The NKBA sponsored an authentic German dinner for the BlogTour Gang. in Cologne.
Quite possibly the most awesome cheese soup ever created! If anyone has an in, Sara, Tina, Kathy and I would love the recipe!
As one of our much appreciated BlogTour Cologne sponsors they were eager to solicit our opinions and thoughts on both the NKBA and KBIS. Whew, not one of those stodgy old complacent organizations around for years doing the same old… nothing. Is it just me, or am I the only one who appreciates a bit more than self-serving lip-service? Oppps, did my inner-dialogue spill into print?
The NKBA is a wealth of information and knowledge for both the consumer and the design community. It is a great place to uncover inspiration and new ideas. The NKBA, its a good thing.

I want that cheese recipe too. And I’m glad you share that the NKBA is for both pros like you, and consumers like me!
Keep your fingers crossed someone is working on getting that recipe.
