We wish all our American friends a very Happy Independence Day week and a safe and inspiring Fourth of July.
Wanna know what the deal is with this funky flag? Here is a little piece of American trivia:
The Continental Colors, AKA the Grand Union Flag, was the flag flown during the American War for Independence and still in use on July 4, 1776 when we officially declared our Independence. Stars and stripes, the flag we normally use and think of as representing the original thirteen colonies were not official adopted until 1777.
Have a great week, see you next week. XOXO
