The days are getting shorter and fall is just around the corner, back to turning on the lights again. Time to mine the offerings for wonderful lighting to enhance those cozy nights. Lighting does not have to be overly goopy and dripping with the latest design details to be wonderful. Sometimes simpler is much better.
While it is easy to get drawn in with the eye-candy effect sometimes a fixture just needs to be a fixture which illuminates an area and doesn’t shout. This 32″W 32.5″H 2.75″D Eclipse fixture from Troy Lighting does the trick. It is happily timeless and will work in both a modern or traditional interior. I love the crispness of the finish which allows it to be current and not relegated to only the more rustic interiors.
Another equally classic fixture is from Zia-Priven. All of lighting from this wife and husband team is amazing but the Sutton Square just begs to go anywhere a chandelier is needed whether small, medium or large. Elegant but not fussy and polished nickel is such a fabulous finish. The precision of this fixture is what really makes it a star though it can remain quiet in the most glamorous room.
Each fixture has a sense of balance and symmetry which allow them to be timeless and relevant in numerous interiors. Simplicity makes for extraordinary light fixtures. Which one would you like?
