I’m going to just say it, Granite is so yesterday (unless you are going for the pattern). Not that I don’t like it, I have some myself, but with all the new options available for hard surface countertops which have way better characteristics for day to day living… a change is coming.
For those who like a more random aggregate look Cambria USA makes countertops of pure natural Quartz in some truly gorgeous options in their New Cambria Collection. Nobody would know it isn’t granite accept you!
- No maintenance (sealing),
- inherently food safe,
- limited lifetime warranty and
- lasting strength are all benefits not found in granite.

Clearly I’m a girl passionate about color and as I strode around the aisles of KBIS here is what stopped me in my tracks. PINK! OMG a pink quartz countertop! Not sort of pink, but real saturated pink, and blue (“Lisa blue”) and yellow and green and orange. LOVE!!! I can totally see the pink in a ladies closet/dressing room. The colors are perfect for kids bathrooms. Sign me up!
Thank you Silestone by Consentino.

It’d be rude to stop…
Oh, but why deny you of their capabilities…
