What can I say, I’ve got so many pictures from the whole Pebble Beach, Carmel, Monterey Car Week (everyone uses a different title) the only way is to post marquees individually. Of course having the 50th Anniversary of the Ferrari GTO celebrated with 22 of 39 built on the lawn at Sunday’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance would get any Ferrari lover excited.
The 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Sperimentale Pininfarina Coupe a.k.a the GTO prototype at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion on Friday. I find it just fascinating how many of the most attractive Ferraris aren’t red but blue. Ha!
This is my first ever YouTube video – remember we are amateurs when it comes to photos…

1962 Ferrari 250 GTO 64 Scaglietti Berlinetta
1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Scaglietti Berlinetta – not sure about the color here…
1964 Ferrari 250 GTO 64 Scaglietti Berlinetta, same vintage as me which means I should have one right? Driven by Phil Hill to win Daytona 2000 km.
1964 Ferrari 250 GTO 64 Scaglietti Berlinetta but different, notice the hood scoop. This is the last one, no really the last one built. It won at Le Mans and the Tour de France.
1954 Ferrari 375 MM PF Berlinetta Aerodinamica Speciale built for King Leopold II of Belgium.
1957 Ferrari 250 GT PF Prince Bernhard Berlinetta Speciale
1965 Ferrari 250 LM PF Coupe
This one was for King Leopold III of Belgium, a 1952 Ferrari 342-375 America PF Cabriolet
Of course I’d never forget my favorite, the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Scaglietti Berlinetta in the beautiful Swedish racing colors. This was taken in the paddock area on Saturday as it was resting for the big day. 🙂
1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa prototype was the most expensive car ever sold at auction: $16.39 million.

I was right, Ferrari did debut the new FF (short for Ferrari Four) at Pebble Beach, the California Spyder is in the background. In fact I was headed to an early morning spa appointment on Saturday (the one ‘me’ thing for a whole 10 days) and we found the test drives… full. But of course I got to sit in one and Jeff spent some time with one. He loves it, I’m not a fan yet. As a 612 replacement, I like the 612 much better. This is like a little bobtail which stutters, sorry just not there yet. As a name I would have liked F4 better… like the Phantom.
