On January 25th, 2014 the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza will act as the season opener of supercar car shows. This is the pillar of automobile events for Ferrari enthusiasts. From vintage racers to classic touring cars to modern supercars, the full bloodline will be present and not all of them are red.
Start With A Yellow Ferrari 275
For those who wish to bow at the feet of the Ferrari this year you will be in the presence of four wheel automotive royalty, the Ferrari 275 GTB/C. The arguments are rampant whether this rare model, said to be illegal in GT race terms as Ferrari produced no stock versions of this exact car, or the Ferrari 250 GTO’s are the world’s most expensive Ferraris. The 275′ s are the honored model at this year’s event.
A Win at Cavallino is a BIG deal

What makes the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic so special is that it is one of a few concours events which qualify a car for the Louis Vuitton Classic Concours Award. Only cars which have been judged “Best in Show” at one of the top events worldwide, including the Cavallino Classic, Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, Concours d’Elegance of America, Quail Motorsports Gathering, Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, among others may qualify to be judged “Best of The Best.”
Red Ferraris outnumber other colors 
Red is the color of Ferrari and while other colors are embraced there is nothing quite like Rossa Corsa for the Ferrari enthusiast. Unless you are me and my preferences are either Tour de France Blue or Giallo.

Dawn Patrol. Forget arriving early, the secret to the Cavallino Classic is staying at The Breakers. You simply must. Avoid the crowds and hoist your rear out of bed Saturday morning, before dawn breaks so you can enjoy the arrival of the cars.
Staying at the host hotel is key, I mean major key. This is where you get a chance to talk to and meet the owners, drivers and get up close and personal without an audience. 
And you get the prime picture locations to watch them leave.
