This August during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, automotive enthusiasts are in for a treat. Ferrari North America will host the North American celebration of Ferrari’s 70th anniversary with their own Ferrari Concours. Organizers have made it easy to enjoy Ferrari’s 70th birthday with this separate event during the concours.
Ferrari fans will enjoy double the automotive eye candy on August 20th, concours Sunday, with two concours in one day at Pebble Beach. “This will be an historic celebration of Ferrari, bringing its seventy years of engineering, style and passion to life for our clients, collectors and fans during the incomparable Pebble Beach Automotive Week,” said Edwin Fenech, President & CEO, Ferrari North America.
On on the famed 18th fairway of the Pebble Beach Golf Links the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will include four Ferrari classes, featuring special classes for Ferrari Major Race Winners and Ferrari One-Off Spéciales.
Simultaneously, 70 special Ferraris will inhabit the first fairway for the Ferrari 70th Anniversary Concours. This unprecedented dual concours will be an exciting addition to concours Sunday. Since 1973 specific Ferrari classes have been an important part of the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance.
The new Fairway One at The Lodge, fronting the first fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links, will be Ferrari’s home throughout Pebble Beach Automotive Week. If you want a sneak peek, the public is welcome on Saturday August 19th, 4 p.m. to watch as the cars are loaded onto the first fairway for Sunday’s Ferrari Concours.
