The annual Ferrari Cavallino Classic event in Palm Beach is always fun, but after years of taking so many pictures of the entire car this year I shifted my focus. Here are some interesting pictures taken at the event. Some are car details, car badges, while others are just plain odd. All for fun, please enjoy.
Of course I would never leave you without at least one car to salivate over. 🙂
Professional photographer I am not, however what someone else might consider a bad picture, I like. The reflection of the palm trees on the hood of this 1951 Ferrari 212 Export Spyder is just cool. But now let’s get to some of the details which make vintage Ferraris so special.
The interior of a gentleman’s racer, a 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB TDF Competition car.
Oh, the 50’s tail fin action did not happen only in America. This is on a 1955/56 Ferrari 25o GT TDF Speciale, believe me it was special. The Ferrari red leather interior made my head spin.
Ferraris were special, each individually handcrafted automobile was distinctive.
Each coachbuilder offered their own unique badges.
Ferraris are not the only cars which make an appearance during the event, here is the high and low.
At the track portion of the event I spied this wonderful example of automotive history…
a real live Pacer. There is truly something for everyone. 🙂
