Leather Toilet Seats For the Royal Rear

Rarely do I get something in my inbox which makes me say, “What were they thinking?”  But the other day I did.  I am imagining just how many cocktails it took to design and present this as product worthy of a capital investment.

Seriously a leather toilet seat?  If it was April 1st I would have been sure this was an April Fool’s joke as the title of their new line is… wait for it… “The Royal Throne Collection.”  Roll on the floor LOL.

Okay, maybe this works in other parts of the world and I’m missing the translation.  But a leather toilet seat?  I’m not a fan of cold hard plastic in the middle of the night but leather, really?

Blah, blah, “…due to demand for.”  This is not what I have in mind for an “eco-friendly” option either.   I’ll channel those brilliant girls at Design Blahg for a better way to put it:  this might be eco-friendly on crack.

To be fair I’ve not used Eco Domo products before and I only know about them for making leather floor tiles and my intention is only to question the viability of this particular product.   Being in Maryland, it is possible they are drinking a bit too much of the Washington Kool-Aid and believe everything they come up with is a good idea.  Yikes.  Quick, someone grab me the eco-friendly linen toilet paper I think I need to wipe!
