Only Fashionable Design Bloggers Make Brizo’s List

Get ready Memphis, the design bloggers are coming… it already sounds like it might be the blue suede shoe brigade!

One of the first companies to embrace interior or kitchen design bloggers and understand the value of having a real person write about a product rather than an impersonal advertisement was Brizo, the fashion forward faucet company.  We think, we blog, we do not regurgitate a press release – and we look good.

It all started with selecting kitchen & bath design bloggers and interior design bloggers, 19 at a time, from the thousands in the blogosphere, to come to NYC learn about Brizo’s faucets and attend the Jason Wu fashion show.  Yeah, just that little old thing, nothing major.  HA!  Design cartwheels ran amuck once those announcements were made each season. Fashion Week?  Calendar = clear.

What began in February 2010 has become one of the most coveted lists for a design related blogger to be on.  Now we are big time.

I’m telling you this because the internet is going to be askew this coming week as over 80 of us descend on Memphis, Tennessee, for a reunion, Brizo factory tour and to participate in an event at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Target House.  Brizo is treating all of us design bloggers (all expenses paid) to a reunion tour.

Reconnect, learn, make new friends and support a good cause.

If there is a way to measure the tweets, Instagram and Facebook updates, the hot spot will be centered on Memphis.  Okay, we will be second if the impending royal birth arrives this week.

May I present the list of participating active design bloggers lucky enough to be part of the esteemed Blogger 19 groups…

How is this for a list*?  Be sure to bookmark as a list of great go to design blogs when you are in need of inspiration.

I won’t be posting live from the event but I’ll be on Twitter & Instagram (@TheDecorGirl) and will likely toss a few pictures on Facebook too.  The blog will be quiet, but I won’t. 🙂 I’ll give you the full recap in August.
