Racing Eye Candy From Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion

 One of the most intriguing events during Pebble Beach Car Week are the track days at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca which features the 2012 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.  Quite a mouthful, I know. Yes, the morning got off to a cool and foggy start but the sun quickly burned through.  Vintage racing will always prevail.  Between being too cold or two hot here are the vintage and not so vintage racecars I found highly seductive.  Though I did not make a point of only photographing blue cars, isn’t it interesting how many of the most stunning examples are often blue?  Ha!

I’m not ignoring the tribute to Carroll Shelby, just saving it as the topic for next Saturday’s car post to entice you back for more. 🙂
