Thank You Grohe!

Don’t you just cringe with impending doom at the thought of dealing with customer service people after secretly hoping A) they speak & understand English and B) are in this country?

A couple of weeks ago I decided to contact GROHE America because the rubber push button part on my seven year old faucet had cracked.

The replacement parts section on their website had plenty of parts, just not the one I was after.  So I decided to try an email.  No response.  Met my expectations.  (I recent had a bad experience, you’ll hear about eventually, with the customer service of a different manufacturer.)  A couple of days go by, still nothing.  Shock and surprise, not.

I was out mowing my lawn when I noticed a small package left at my front door.

Inside the envelope was a little box containing the exact piece I needed, a packing slip but no bill!  All I did in the email was ask for a part number so I could order and pay for the replacement.

Customer service is not measured by “if” you have a problem but when and how a company or person reacts when a problem occurs.  In the spirit of Thanksgiving and being thankful I want to give a hearty thank you to GROHE!  They make fantastic products which I have and recommend, but now I can say they are equally great in service after the sale.

If you are looking for a kitchen or bath faucet– buy a GROHE.
