The Classic White Kitchen

Just the other day my husband asked me, “are white kitchens still in style?”  Honey, a good white kitchen never goes out of style.  My only disclaimer is with some of the pebble finish thermafoil cabinets from the 1980’s – they can look tired.  I found these current white kitchens from my kitchen and cabinet Twitter pals.

I love how adding cabinets in other colors make this white kitchen pop. Notice the details such as the comfy spot for the footrest for sitting at the counter.   Let’s play hide the radiator/register, very creative.  Starting to see more and more of these double islands.

White is timeless and classic.  It conjures up the image of clean and fresh, exactly what I want coming out of any kitchen.  White cabinets are the little black dress for the home, they just work.  They can be traditional with the cool old silvery hardware or completely modern.  Wood finishes come and go, certain colors can become trendy but a white kitchen is always in style.
