When asked to design a kitchen I’m often asked what are the “best” kitchen appliances. My reply is always with the same question. Do you cook? If the answer is yes, my vote goes to the Wolf Appliance wall oven.

Wolf 30″ Single Electric Wall Oven
I idea for this post came last night while I was baking a pizza. I had just pulled out the regular oven racks and hooked up the pizza stone heating element and I got to thinking about how much I really like my Wolf wall oven.
- Bakes a perfect crispy crust pizza.
- Convection roast makes quick and tasty roasted meats, potatoes and other veggies.
- The temperature probe and programmable cooking option allows one to leave in the afternoon and come home to well cooked dinner.
- The temperature is spot on.
- Has made endless yummy batches of crispy or chewy cookies and countless other baked goods.
- Clean-up of spills is easy due to the covered heating element in the bottom.
- Dual fans allow for even cooking while using all three racks at once.
It’s not just me, others like Kitchen Designer, Paul Anater glows about Wolf on his Kitchen and Residential Design Blog. Garden Web, were I searched consumer reviews six years ago, still lists people giving Wolf high marks. The price seems to be the biggest complaint anyone has. But considering the kitchen is the most used room in a home with the largest performance requirements one has to only break down the cost per-use (just like with pricey designer clothing) to realize the money is well spent. Okay, so it costs about the same as a new Chanel handbag.
If you are a person who knows their way around a kitchen consider a Wolf oven for your next kitchen project. From a design perspective it also looks good, doesn’t hurt to have a nice blue interior either!
